Questions
Is Glowtrail really free?
Yes. All seven games are free in your browser, with no download, no subscription and nothing to buy. Every player gets every game from the first round.
Do I need an account?
No. Tap play and you start as a guest straight away. Create an account whenever you like to keep your level, match history and leaderboard place across devices.
How do I play with friends?
Choose a game and tap "Invite friends". That makes a private room and copies an invite link. You can also share the 5-letter room code, and friends type it in on the home page.
What games are there?
Seven: Skyclimb (a 3D tower race), Territory (land-grab), Blast Tag (bomb passing), Ringout (sumo brawl), Crumble (vanishing floor), Mimic (hide and seek) and Sketch (draw and guess).
Does it work on phones and tablets?
Yes. Every game has touch controls with a floating thumbstick and action buttons, and works in current versions of Safari, Chrome, Firefox and Edge. Skyclimb needs WebGL, which all current phone browsers include.
What if nobody else is online?
Bots fill the room so a round can always start, and they step aside as real players join.
Is there voice chat?
Yes, in Skyclimb, Territory, Blast Tag, Ringout and Crumble. It is off until you choose to join, connects players directly, and is turned off in Mimic and Sketch because speech would give away the answers.
How do levels and the leaderboard work?
You earn XP for every round you finish, with bonuses for wins and eliminations. XP raises your level, and the leaderboard ranks players overall and per game.
